Your remember... you saved up money from babysitting or mowing the lawn to get it. It was the first LP, cassette tape or CD (or 8-track?!?) that you bought with your own money! We share ours, what are yours? Music: If I Laugh - live from June 24, 2006 at Merchant Tap House, Kingston Ontario
Comments:
ok, so first of all, your "french" had me in tears and in stitches.
secondly, my first music purchase was a compilation: now 3. really, not a bad first cd i think, with matchbox 20, the wallflowers, great big sea. also chumbawumba, paula cole, lisa loeb (remember the glasses?), sister hazel, the spice girls, and aqua. and a few more. unfortunately, i didn't have a portable cd player at the time and i had to record it onto a tape so i could listen to it on the road to the cottage and at camp.
Tara, have no fear...my friends and I once made up a baton (yes, the twirling kind) routine to New Kids on the Block "the right stuff" (the very first tape I ever had, it came as a gift with first tape player - which only had one working speaker)...I still remember the entire song, and routine...
