Uncle Seth Podcast #30: Has Canadian Political Satire Lost It's Edge?

18 meg MP3 file

Amaya and Jay debate the "edginess" (not to be confused with "truthiness") of current Canadian political & social satire on television. Ooooo, sounds heavy. Well not really, not the way we do it.

Music: Rain from C'est What, Toronto - 02/24/2007

Comments:
Hey Jay and Amaya,

Excellent show. Very entertaining.
Having lived in Washington DC for 8 years now, there is an unnatural reverence for the president and the White House. I work about 4 blocks from the White House and during the summer thousands of people flock to see that building. I'll send you some pictures so you can see the lunacy. I think that Canadians have the right idea...the PM is a guy with a job just like the rest of us not some magical all powerful being.

Can't wait to catch up at PAB and hearing you guys in concert.
