Post PodCamp Posts

Got back from PodCamp in Boston early yesterday morning, and still feeling a little overwhelmed. It was an absolutely AMAZING experience. We cannot say enough about the event that organizers Chris Brogan, Christopher S. Penn, Steve Garfield, Adam Weiss, Bryan Person & Larry Lawfer, along with lots of volunteers & sponsors, put together. You are all amazing, and we thank you from the deepest depths of our Canadian hearts.

Some post PodCamp podcast and blog coverage:
There's LOTS more stuff appearing online, check out:

hey guys.
i just wanted to say thanks again for letting me come down to boston with you. i had SO much fun. we totally need to do this again.
i'll see you all soon!
love,
char
ps. oswego!

An absolute pleasure to meet you and the band during the weekend. Bands rocking at an unconference -- what a concept! Thanks for being part of the innovation.

(I lived and worked in Oswego for three years -- true story!)

This one time.....at Podcamp.....I made a bunch of cool new friends with a bunch of canadian rockers and I am still smiling from it.

Your energy and your friendship is something I'm going to feed off of over and over again and I have no doubt.

I learned about underwear, kissing, harmonicas and canadian catch phrases. Damn was it fun!

Chris & Bryan: I've said it to you both individually, you and the rest of the organizers did an AMAZING job putting PodCamp together, we were just thrilled to be a part of it. As far as coming to PodCamp 2007 - well as the great philosopher Mick Jagger once said, "wild horses couldn't drag me away..."

C.C.: I've known you for over a year anyway, finally meeting face to face just solidified it. We have LOTS to talk about and do over the months and years ahead, and I couldn't be more excited either. Oh, and not that I wasn't all along, but now that I have the pins I'm REALLY a Homefry! :-)

Char: Did we ever figure out exactly what a chargez d'affaires is supposed to do? Well it doesn't matter 'cus clearly you're the best one there ever was. Thank you so much for your help this weekend, it wouldn't have been as much fun without you. And remember, if you ever feel depressed or lonely, somewhere in the world at this very moment, pigs are being slaughtered so that humans may eat bacon. Hmmmmm, ba-con.

In immortal the words of another great philosopher, John "Ozzy" Osborne: "I love you! I love you all!"

P.S. Oh, and next time we're definitely going to the Boston Beer Works. Me like-y micros. Bring the dude from Von.

Am I late to the posting party? :)

I'm finally done with Podcamp + BarcampNYC, and we're already planning PodcampNYC!

I just wanted to drop one more line here and let you know how great it was to meet all of you at podcamp and that I'm still talking about it to everyone who will listen. You're seriously pioneering what music promotion for the next decade will look like, and cranking out great tunes to boot!

Keep it up, and let me know if you'll be near NYC anytime before podcamp, I'll bring a few dozen folks out!

Hey Eric, it was great meeting you as well! And you're a serious pioneer in puppet interviewing online. ;-) Seriously though, great fun speaking and being on the panel with you, and I look forward to hanging out with you again soon.

Doubt will get to NYC before PodCamp but we are DEFINITELY planning to be at PodCamp NYC itself. With all the PodCamps cropping up (including PodCamp Toronto, date annoucement coming very soon) we are going to have to pick and choose which ones to attend, but NYC is absolutely top of the list.
